Emptyness in Enlightenment

"I searched trying to find enlightenment, the goal of becoming one with the universe. To loose my self and find the truth. But it turns out, the truth is scarier, and more unimaginable than I could have ever dreamed. Now, when I to close my eyes to hide from the truths I've seen, the same image always flickers in my skull and it's driving me mad. There's no one I can turn to and no where to run.
Sometimes I just want to scratch away the pain, the image, the TRUTH....
